Is there anything I can do to avoid periodontal disease?
Of course, there is. Follow these steps, and you can be sure of treating periodontal disease right from the beginning:
- Pay attention to the thorough cleaning of your teeth and dentures.
- Have regular dental check-ups (recommended every six months).
- Have plaque removed regularly (recommended every six months).
- Pay attention to proper and healthy nutrition.
- Avoid smoking, if possible.
